Court Bookings

All court bookings for Swansea Tennis Club are made through the CourtReserve online portal. As the Club is very popular, particularly in the summer months, the success of the court booking system relies on the thoughtfulness of all members. Here are the rules and guidelines for booking courts:

  • Courts can be booked by members up to 48 hours in advance
  • Courts can be booked for half-hour or full-hour sessions
  • Members can play up to two hours per day
  • When booking a court, the names of all players must be recorded in the system
  • Members must cancel court bookings as soon as it’s clear they will be unable to make their sessions and provide reasons for the cancellations
  • If members do not arrive within 15 minutes of their start time, the booking is forfeited and the court is released to other players
  • Demerit points are assigned to members who book courts and don’t show up for their sessions
  • Repeated no-shows will result in the rescinding of booking and playing privileges for a given period of time
  • Shoe tags will no longer be distributed, but members should be prepared to show identification to the Club Manager and/or Court Attendants prior to taking the court
  • If playing with a guest, members must record the guest name in the system and pay the guest fee before play starts
  • The Club Manager and/or Court Attendants will be on-site to ensure court sessions and transitions from one booking to the next run smoothly
  • Any unbooked courts will be available for drop-in tennis by members on a first-come, first-served basis; during primetime hours, the Club Manager and/or Court Attendants will be on-site to assist.

The CourtReserve booking system can be accessed via web browser or by downloading the app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
