Beginning with the 2024 season, Swansea Tennis Club has contracted Top Performance Tennis (TPT) Academy to provide professional instruction to its members. TPT instructors Nelson Perez and Andres Baca are International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Tennis Canada Certified Coaches. Together, they’ve created a robust schedule of lessons and camps for both junior and senior players.

Nelson Perez
From Maracaibo, Venezuela, he came to Canada in 2014. An ITF and Tennis Canada Certified Coach with 15+ years coaching experience.
Currently completing his Club Pro 2 Certification. A former Top-10 as a junior in Venezuela. Played competitively in the Future and Challenger tour in Venezuela for two years. Loves music, travelling, movies and sports.
Andres Baca
From Maracaibo, Venezuela, he came to Canada in 2014. An ITF and Tennis Canada Certified Coach with 15+ years coaching experience working with athletes of all ages, from beginners to high-performance players.
Currently completing his Club Pro 2 Certification. A former Top-20 as a junior in Venezuela. Loves fitness, paddle, travelling and food.
